Super friendly, very good food, not gourmet, but for a little drive thru, good as it gets. good value. Been going there since high school, 30yrs.

Love their fries and gravy. The price is kind of high for what it is. Deep fried McCain’s crinkle cut fries, but it’s still worth it. Tried their corn dog, and it’s just a deep fried pogo stick.

Amazing prices, definitely worth a stop in.

Have been here numerous times over the years. From my days at St Francis, years ago until now. Food is always made to order and great tasting!! Stopped in for the zucchini, seasoned fries and deep fried mushrooms. Tasty and good portions.

I went here at 6:30 PM when they said they were open til 7. I drove up to the window and it was closed. I waited there for a minute and an old dude came up to the window and just made the "no goal" wave like hockey refs do without opening the window. So I just drove off. I ain't even mad.

Very nice 50's style drive in restaurant with great food and excellent customer service.

I wish I could attach pictures not only did I get maybe 7 onion rings they put gross BROWN ROTTING lettuce on my chicken burger. So disappointed and grossed out. Watch your burgers people.

The crinkle-cut fries and gravy are excellent, and in my opinion, an excellent value. Get the family sized fries and a large gravy on your way home to share with your crew... or finish them yourself while you're in rush hour traffic... you know... whichever.

I've lived in Calgary all my life, driven by this gem numerous times and not sure why I have never stopped to try it. Well today I decided to try ... Mom and pop local restaurant, super friendly staff and also very tasty, fresh burgers and onion rings. This place will also not break the bank very good value and excellent experience, definitely a treasure to Calgary

Best seasoned fries I have ever tasted, and their milkshakes are so amazing! Their signature dish is the crinkley fries so no matter what you order, you must order the fries. You cannot go wrong with them.

Don't order the mushroom Swiss burger is it awful. The fries are excellent though.

You really can't beat the prices here. I got the "Monster Burger" which comes with four patties and it only costs around six dollars. As far as I am concerned, that is a very reasonable price and you can't find prices like that anywhere else. As far as the taste, they are pretty standard. You get the basic toppings like onions, lettuce, etc and the burgers are usually served with the patties smothered in BBQ sauce. You can also get shakes, slushies, Shake-slushies, fries, chicken fingers, etc. Overall, if you are looking for a bite to eat and you are looking for a good "Bang for your buck" so to speak, then look no further and C.B. Drive in, which serves good burgers at unmatched prices.

Sooo much potential and yet so disappointing. Decided to get out of the house during Covid-time...took my wife to a throwback drive in for a burger, onion rings, and a shake. Burgers were cool to the touch, nothing homemade about them. Frozen patties, cold Costco buns, unmelted Kraft processed cheese, and canned mushrooms. Onion rings were spartan and greasy. Shakes literally were the only thing that elevated this to a single star. For $27 you’d be better off going to A&W. At least the food is hot and actually doesn’t have the feel like your kids made it for Father’s Day.

Decide to pop in when we drove by never noticed it before.Decided on a cheeseburger since they claim on the sign .. best burgersWell...... not even a good burger. Tiny patty, the bun was 3 times its size. The cheese was not melted. Just a cold slice of processed cheese and 1 tiny lonely pickle just cheap The fries though! they were great simply frozen crinkle cut but so yummy. Not yummy enough to bring us back though.

I love their screamers! So tasty. This is a well loved neighborhood restaurant with incredible staff. Always a pleasure to stop by here for an easy dinner or a milkshake. They even have vegetarian options!

Best fries ever. The staff is amazing always super polite and friendly no matter how busy they are they are still amazingly friendly and polite. Great service. Good food their burgers are a little bland but the fries are to die for.

Best burger joint in Calgary. I recommend the family fries and mushroom swiss burger. My family has been going here since I was a little girl. Excellent family-run business.Right now due to covid19, only the drive-through is open.

Unsure if it’s due to new ownership or not, but the gentleman at the location was extremely rude. He first didn’t take any time or interest in hearing the entirety of our order. No one was at the order window afterwards so we were unsure how to place the remainder of our order. Pulled up and he told us the total, but we told him we had more to our order, he just huffed in annoyance and said “what do you want?” We tell him the remainder of our order, and then asked for a receipt. Again, his body language just showed how inconvenienced he was. The food itself seemed fine, but the service was not impressive. He then had his female coworker come out to give us our food, she was nice enough but when we asked if he was having a bad day she said that that’s just how he is as a person. Overall, I would not recommend this place, there are better places to go to in the city. We regret choosing this location.

I’ve lived in the area 3+ years and had never been here before, I stopped in for a milkshake and fries to go in a rush the other day & I think it was the best fries I’ve ever had. They use the crinkly fries & I love that, salted, but not overly. The milkshake was thick & delicious. The 2 owners seemed to be working and they were kind & efficient. I would say this place is a little hidden gem in Cambrian. Northmount just off 14th street. I will be back to try one of their burgers someday. Hours are shorter, but I understand this as it’s a locally owned family business, who doesn’t want to support Calgary’s local businesses right now. I’m a happy customer *️⃣*️⃣*️⃣*️⃣*️⃣

I'm not sure if there are new owners cause this place used to be good but is not worth the money anymore. The fries are the same frozen McCain krinkle cut french fries I buy from the grocery stores. Fish is the frozen fish I buy from grocery stores but greasy. Chicken fingers followed suit. We ordered five meals including the master burger & poutine and nothing was worth returning for. Bummer.

I have been coming here as long as I can remember and have never had a remotely disappointing experience. I love introducing my friends to this place!

When I’m feeling nostalgic, this is my go to place! Burger’s, fries (extra seasoning a must 😉) and a gold old coke. It hasn’t changed in over 30 years. Truly the BEST! Oh, and it’s still owned by the original owners!

The order was so prompt, food was fresh and delicious and the staff were really friendly!

Prices are good, burger was good, fries are a little on the salty side, service was prompt, milkshake had way to much sugar and tasted a little off. Its a good place but nothing special

This place is a local gem! I’ve had their burgers, fries, poutine before and they’ve also filled my tummy and they’ve always been delicious. The customer service is on point and they are always so friendly. Drive thru is even decent for a local restaurant like this! You don’t wait too long for a delicious meal. I love C.B! This is a great place and I strongly recommend everyone to give it a try if they’re visiting or living in Calgary!

Im 55 now, I used to go here when I was 17 and it had even then been there for a few decades already. I think the owners are the same family as back when I was a kid aswell.I love their French Fries the best! And the master cheeseburger. Yummy!Love you guys!!!

I don’t know why I don’t come here often. Maybe it is because it’s located towards the northern side of the city from where I’m at. But I’m always impressed and never disappointed with the food and service!!They have a fairly extensive menu selection for food and all. But the best one-two punch that they offer by far is their burger and fries. Just so darn quintessential and authentic - delicious! A nice, hearty, charbroiled double patty burger with your favourite toppings/condiments and pair that up with their fries - crinkle cut and seasoning salt coated (arguably some of the best batch of fries in Calgary)... add the budget friendly/bang for your buck deal, the long time family managed business with their friendly & welcoming service and finally the nostalgic feel of a true drive inn and you’ll be asking yourself why you don’t come here more often!

It was ok I expected more the burger and fries were bland. Apparently the shakes are good but I didn't have one. Not worth the drive thru wait in my opinion

It was absolutely great. I've known these guys for 25 years. I took my kids there, my boys loved it. Burger and fries(especially onion fries) are amazing. Plus you always get the friendly happy owner and his family serving you yummy food. Thank you CB's- my two boys enjoyed it. Shibu ,Daniel and Joseph.
